Test board
From Refarm the city
refarm on vacations
STEP 1 you need to configure the micro computer.
if you got the kit from us the ATmega already come configured and with the green led blink code. jump to STEP 2.
• configure the ATmega
- upload the bootloader to your ATmega on a conventional arduino > tools>burn uploader > w usb tiny isp (
- put the ATmega on the refarm board
- on arduino app select > tools/board/arduino pro or pro mini 8mhz
- test sending some code with the refarm on the sofa board
STEP 2 feed the board with energy
this board in prepared to work with 12V or 5V it only depends on what watering system you use.
be careful on using 12v car batteries. they have Pb :(
since this is a low budget project you can try to get one old computer power supply.
connect the yellow to +12v, the black to -12v and -5v and the red to the +5v.
the led should start to blink green since that is the code that we have upload to them :)
