first turkish farm in the city

While I was thinking about what to grow in my farm, I came up with the idea of making a list of my favorite food my grandma cooks for me when i am back home. The list was quiet long, most of them were with meat- hard core anatolian carnivore taste:) but i wanted to cook something without meat at the end- so I ended up with something more Mediterranean with olive oil, green herbs inside and more veggie:)

I decided to grow red peppers in my garden and cook this delicious meal called “Kirmizi Biber Dolmasi” at the end for friends!

Here is a delicious shot of what it looks like!

The best thing about this vegetable (actually you can call it fruit too, at least thats what wikipedia says- i trust him till the end:)) you can eat it raw too with just some drops of olive oil and some mints on top! Oh yes, I am a real mediterranean.. But for this specific meal, I need to dry the peppers before cooking them. So while i was designing the farm, I wanted to add an area where i can hang the peppers to be dried under the sun. Here are some sketches of what i am designing right now. I really want it to have some other features like storage areas for water or a compost or a table for mixing the stuff and eating and maybe a tubular area around the farm to collect the rain water.. I know it sounds crazy to put everything all together on one farm but we’ll see!

Oh, before ending up, I have to give the recipe too, right!
First what we need for stuffing the peppers:
2 onions,
one glass of full white rice,
tomato paste,
parsley,
spices-mint, wild thymes, grapevine, black pepper
and olive oil of course.

So lets get to the magic part! How to cook:
